Application Checklist
2025-2026

Schedule parent tour and interview
Schedule student visit
Complete the application for your grade
Provide teacher and family recommendations
Submit the transcript release form
Provide other records as requested
Pay the $40 application fee
OPTIONAL – notify the Admission Office if you plan to apply for tuition assistance. Complete your application by January 15.
OPTIONAL – take the SSAT (Waynflete code 8060)

Timeline

We will begin the 2025-26 application season in October. We look forward to meeting and working with you and your child. The timeline below outlines the application process for the 2025-26 school year.

October/November
Parent visits begin in October, and student visits for Lower, Middle, and Upper School begin in November and continue throughout the winter and spring. Please contact the Admission Office at 207.274.5224 to arrange for parent and student visits. We will do our best to coordinate visits for you and your child on the same day.

January 15
Tuition Assistance applications should be filed by January 15. After the January 15 deadline, applicants should directly contact the Admission Office before submitting an application for aid.

February 10

Completed applications are due on February 10 for first-round applicants. We also accept applications on a rolling admission basis throughout the spring and summer.

March 10

The Admission Office will notify first-round applicants on March 10. Families who apply after this date will be notified within a few weeks following completion of the application.

We moved from Massachusetts to enroll our daughter in Waynflete. Best decision ever. She is engaged, challenged, relaxed and happy (!) in this caring, forward thinking community.
